Windows into genetic variation

The Genotype Browser website provides an easy way to access and view the results of a comprehensive study of genetic variation in three diverse human populations. The full results of this study, published by Perlegen scientists in the journal Science, indicate these SNPs capture most common human genetic variation as a result of linkage disequilibrium. The Genotype Browser can be used to create customized views comparing the relationships between SNPs in all three populations. Virtually all the SNP, linkage disequilibrium, and haplotype data reported in the study can be accessed using this tool. In addition, data files can be downloaded either directly from the browser or by using the Data Download section of the website.
